A 3-dimensional house design could have a lot more impact than you think.
The home design world is getting a lot better at designing 3-d designs, says Dr. William Kostin, a professor of architecture at the University of Illinois.
He says the process has been made more accessible by 3-dimensions on many buildings around the world, including the new U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. “I think people have learned to recognize it,” he says.
“And when it’s done right, it’s really beautiful.”
For starters, you can get the same 3-dimensionality that you get in 3-wheeled cars and other 3-legged machines.
But Kostins 3-axis system can also be used to design and build a 3-story house, he says, which is why the design is called a house garden design.
It’s a way to combine a house design with a garden.
It’s the same idea of the farmhouse and the farm, but it’s also a more modern way of thinking about it, Kostis says.
In his lab at the Illinois Institute of Technology, he’s using a 3D printer to create an exact replica of the house that he wants to create.
“The idea of 3-molded models has always been very exciting to me,” he explains.
“But what I’ve been really interested in lately is figuring out how we can use these 3- dimensional systems to design the building itself.”
In a 3d house, the 3- dimensions are like an open window, Koskin says.
So the dimensions are in a box.
The idea behind a 3,000 square foot house is to create a structure with the same scale as a house.
In other words, it is like a garden in a house with a different scale.
There are also 3,500 individual house parts, so it can be stacked to create different house designs.
To make a house that’s 3-Dimensions wide, you just need to take the top layer off the top of the box, and then layer it down, and it’s 3,600 square feet.

I think we are finally starting to see a resurgence in 3D printing, Kastin says.
But, he points out, it will take more time.
“It’s going to take a long time before we see these kinds of things become commonplace,” he adds.
3-D printing has been around for decades, but the technology has only become available recently.
Now that it’s here, there’s a huge amount of potential to 3D-print things, Kustin says, because it’s cheaper and easier.
As a result, many people are looking to 3-design their houses.
But it’s still a very small percentage of the 3,400-plus design submissions to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, says Michael Nussbaum, director of the institute’s Center for 3D Printing and Structural Design.
So what are the benefits of 3D house designs?
Well, KOSIN is one of the many architects in the U.K. and the U,S.
who is working on a 3 dimensional house.
He says he started working on this idea about a decade ago.
After that, he was contacted by the National Gallery of Art, and they invited him to design an exhibition for their exhibition of 3 dimensional houses.
So he was able to make a 3 minute video about it for a few of his students.
He’s hoping that, in addition to the exhibition, other 3D houses will be built in the future.
“People really need to be able to see 3D models,” he said.
“If they can see it, it would be a great thing.”
But it will be hard to see it on a house as tall as the Capitol.

Kosin says he hopes to build a larger 3-Molded house, perhaps 3,300 feet tall, so that it can compete with the current structures.
