Once designed by the renowned Gustave-Eiffel, Hotel Vernet goes under complete make-over reflecting contemporary grandeur and French art and crafts by a Marsellais interior designer François Champsaur.
Contemporary pieces of art and designs have been dominantly displayed throughout the hotel. The interior of the hotel almost feels like as one has stepped into an art collector’s house. Well selected artworks, furniture, textures and materials have been combined with balance creating spectacular compositions.
Almost in every corner of the hotel, one can find abstract rugs, copper screens and fixtures, ringed chandeliers designed by Eric Schmitt. The curved bar made by the same Carrara Marble (Carrara Marble comes from a province called Massa and Carrara in Tuscany, Italy) that was used on the floors and stunning fresco by French visual artist Jean Michel Alberola are only few of the glamorous elements.
One other factor that needs to be addressed is the iconic stained glass dome that sits over the dining room, where guests can enjoy French cuisine under a breathtaking structure.
