ANAHI: AN ICONIC ARGENTINIAN RESTAURANT IN PARIS

Anahi, an iconic Argentinian restaurant located in Le Marais in Paris, that was created over 20 years ago by two sisters Carmina and Pilar. Anahi was sold to a French entrepreneur Cédric Naudon whose aim is to create a gourmet dreamed, coupled with a cultural challenge village of restaurant, bars and boutiques that offer exceptional products in unique caskets, supporting agricultural and virtuous business initiatives.

This 20th century building has some unique features such as the Art Deco style ceiling. The space is divided into two parts and the walls are covered with cut white ceramic tiles similar to a butcher’s shop.

Maud Bury, Barcelona-based designer who worked alongside Philippe Starck was brought in to create a chic atmosphere to this warm and cozy restaurant. One section of the restaurant walls has been replaced with solid brass tiles and in the other part of the restaurant, walls were kept to its original white ceramic tiles where Bury used copper leaf, which in time oxidize to give a more subdued effect, grout to fill the cracks, which blends nicely with the solid bronze-back chairs.
